University of Dayton Dual Admission Program
If you are planning to earn a bachelor of science degree in engineering technology, consider dual admission to Sinclair and the University of Dayton.

What is the Dual Admission program?

Dual admission allows students to transfer from a qualifying engineering and industrial technology program at Sinclair to a corresponding engineering technology program at UD. Upon applying to UD, students will receive an annual one-third tuition scholarship if they are in a qualifying program and have a qualifying grade point average (GPA).

Who can participate?

You can participate in the Sinclair/UD dual admission program if:

  • You meet the admission requirements for both schools
  • Your major at Sinclair is in one of the following programs:
    • Electronics Engineering Technology
    • Industrial Engineering Technology
    • IET/Manufacturing Engineering Technology
    • Mechanical Engineering Technology
    • Engineering Science University Parallel
  • You maintain satisfactory academic performance
What are the benefits of dual admission?

When you successfully complete your associate degree at Sinclair with a qualifying GPA, you will be assured admission to a corresponding program at UD, with junior-level standing.

As you pursue your baccalaureate degree in engineering technology at UD, you can save thousands of tuition dollars by receiving an annual one-third tuition scholarship once you become an active UD student in a qualifying program with a qualifying GPA.

Sinclair and UD offer co-op and internship opportunities.

How do I apply?

After applying to Sinclair, meet with an E&IT academic counselor to verify your major and to discuss your program requirements. Academic counselors are also available to assist you with scheduling your classes. You may make an appointment by calling (937) 512-2282.

How much does it cost?

To estimate the cost of your degree program, refer to the current rates for each institution. Upon your enrollment at Sinclair, you will pay a UD fee of $110, payable at the Sinclair cashier's window in building 10. Tuition, parking, and lab fees are payable directly to the institution where you are active.
